okay so when i was in 6th grade my language arts teacher made us set up class email accounts for a project we were working on and she used me as an example to show how to set it up so she put my computer screen on the projector and she goes “now type in hotmail.com” and…
A police dog searches you for weed and pulls it out of your back pocket.. you think ‘fuck’ and start planning your excuse until the dog starts lighting a blunt, gives you a wink and says ‘yo thanks dude’

I don’t think that’s a fair correlation to establish. Maybe the tools they were intending to use were their ‘tools’ (ifyouknowwhatImean).

THIS IS AMAZING. YES. THIS.
wow this expresses so many things that I could never quite process
What about pansexual people who don’t hate on bi people or mis-define bisexuality? What about pan people who aren’t ignorant towards trans* identities? What about pansexual people who have trans* identities? Why does every other post I see on pansexuality have these broad generalizations about what pansexual people say and think?
Congratulations on the most roundabout version of “we’re not all like that” I’ve ever seen.
Nowhere did I say “all pan people.” I used cis and binary identity qualifiers where relevant. And by the way, binary trans*people perpetuate a lot of binarism and nonbinary erasure.
So what about all those pan people who “aren’t like that” that I didn’t talk about? What do you want, a pat on the back? A fruit basket with a card saying “congratulations on not personally being one of the people who misrepresent, appropriate, and generally shit on my identity”? I don’t owe you a fucking mention, not one.
OMG!
Okay both the original post and the later comment are pure gold.

Gay guys who think that all homosexuals should act and dress flamboyant.
If you are a fucking *~queer ally~* and you take a scholarship from an LGBT organization you should be ashamed of yourself.
YOU still have cishet privilege, with all the things that come with that and you don’t get to take money away from actual queer and trans* kids just because you fucking believe in gay marriage.
and to add onto this, there are very few scholarships for trans* people
seriously, have you tried searching for them?
they are almost nonexistent.
ugh, there’s this scholarship for queer kids and allies, for which you have to make visual art or do creative writing about queer things. I looked at the entries for which kids had previously been awarded scholarships, and one of them was like this cishet girl writing about how she ~~~totally supports her brother in his transition, but it’s so hard, and she misses her sister, whom her family is mourning~~~
it was the actual worst thing.
This, and: LGBTQ adults or str8 adult “allies” who give out scholarships or other resources to str8 teenage “allies” instead of reserving them for teenagers who are actually structurally disadvantaged by homophobia or transphobia should be so fucking embarrassed.
the girl in this image is kaitlyn hunt, a high school senior in indian river county, florida. kaitlyn hunt is an upstanding student with an exemplary record and plenty of extracurricular activities. she’s in the choir, she’s a cheerleader, she’s a basketball player, and she was even voted “most school spirit” in the school’s yearbook.
on february 16th, she was arrested for lewd and lascivious battery on a child age 12-16 for being in a same sex relationship with a fellow 15 year old student. the relationship started when kaitlyn was 17 and her girfriend was 15. as soon as kaitlyn turned 18, her girlfriend’s parents went to the police, had her arrested, and got her expelled from school. not only that, but she had previously already been kicked off the basketball team for being in a same sex relationship.
kaitlyn’s girlfriend INSISTS that the relationship is 100% consensual, but the law doesn’t grant her any legal say in the matter, so her parents are able to press charges regardless of her opinion. and because of that, kaitlyn is facing two years of house arrest and a year of probation. they never spoke to kaitlyn’s parents or the school to say they had a problem with the girls dating. they simply went to the police and got her arrested.
it would be very simple for anyone to argue that age is the defining factor in this situation, but you and i both know that’s total bullshit. the girls were minors when they started dating. the parents stated that “there is no way our daughter is gay.”
this was driven by the homophobia of those parents, plain and simple. if this was an 18 year old male and a 15 year old girl, nobody would give a shit. it happens ALL the time in high schools across the country. but this young woman, who planned on being a nurse, is now facing felony charges because she was in a same sex relationship.
this is not okay. we need to show our support for kaitlyn and send a message to florida legislators that the selective enforcement of laws like this is NOT okay and that we will NOT stand for this.
if you’d liike to support kaitlyn’s cause, you can sign this petition, and you can donate money to help pay for the family’s legal funds here.
if you’re from florida, you should also find and email your representatives and tell them selective legislation biased against homosexuals, especially teenagers, is simply NOT OKAY!!!!
Jfc you stupid sheep. This isn’t fucking selective legislation; obviously they just didn’t use Romeo and Juliet laws in the defense of the older one. Stop thinking everything is homophobia. This case didn’t even go to court yet, how the fuck would you know that the law is selectively enforced if it didn’t even to court yet. You’re right about the homophobia of the parents, but not the ‘selective legislation’.
But thumbs up for you, op. Even though you were kind of wrong in your assessment of this, you’re a straight cis white male who posted this in support of this person. Good job yo.
